We are all in this for the long haul. We will need even greater stores of resilience, patience, humility, and generosity in the months ahead. We have already lost so much but we cannot lose hope.”

One of the worst affected countries in the USA with more than 2.5 million cases and about 126,000 deaths with Covid-19 so far – more than any other nation. The country removed lockdown recently and this raised sharp increases in new infections in recent weeks.

The WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, “In an atmosphere of global political division and fractures on a national level, the worst is yet to come. I’m sorry to say that. “With this kind of environment and condition, we fear the worst.” Many states of the country issued an order requiring face masks in public.

In Kansas, Gov. Laura Kelly said she will issue an executive issue requiring face masks in public starting Friday.

“The evidence could not be clearer wearing a mask is not only safe, but it is necessary to avoid another shutdown. The order will require people to wear a mask around others. Specific guidance will be issued later this week.” Kelly told reporters Monday.

The health officials of Kansas have reported more than 14,400 confirmed cases and 270 deaths as of Monday afternoon. In this pandemic, other booming sales are in fireworks.

Bruce Zoldan, CEO of Ohio-based Phantom Fireworks said, “Fireworks sales have been unprecedented and stronger than ever in the history of my being in this industry and I’ve been in it for 50 years. The company was planning on a 15% increase in sales this year, but estimates sales are around 115% higher than in 2019.”
